A Jolly Good Time:  CDA’s Jinge Fest Brings Holiday Cheer to Community

 

The holiday spirit was in full swing at Colegio Decroly Americano (CDA) last Friday as we hosted our much-anticipated Jingle Fest in our brand-new state-of-the-art multi-sports arena. This grand celebration, which brought together our CDA families for a night of joy and festivity, is just one of the many reasons why CDA is recognized as one of the best schools in Guatemala.

A Festive Celebration for All

Jingle Fest was more than just a celebration; it was a showcase of the vibrant community spirit that makes CDA unique. Families from all walks of life came together to enjoy an evening filled with fun, laughter, and holiday magic.

 

Highlights of the Night

Food and Games: The arena was abuzz with various food stalls offering delicious treats and exciting games for all ages, creating a carnival-like atmosphere that delighted everyone.

 

Pictures with Santa Claus: A special corner was set up where children and families could take photos with Santa Claus, capturing memories that will be cherished for years to come.

 

Singing and Dancing Extravaganza: Each grade level put on their singing and dancing shoes, delivering spectacular performances that were both heartwarming and entertaining. The talent and hard work of our students were on full display, reflecting CDA’s commitment to holistic education.

 

Mrs. Claus and The Grinch: The night was further enlivened by interactive performances from Mrs. Claus and a surprise visit from the Grinch, adding a touch of whimsy and a mountain of excitement to the festivities.

 

Spectacular Fireworks Display:  The evening culminated in a stunning fireworks display, lighting up the night sky with a kaleidoscope of colors.  The dazzling fireworks were a fitting end to a spectacular celebration, leaving everyone in awe and reinforcing the sense of wonder and community that Jingle Fest embodies.

 

A Reflection of CDA’s Excellence

Jingle Fest was not only a celebration of the holiday season but also a testament to CDA’s excellence in fostering a strong sense of community and belonging. We were blessed to be joined by multiple generations of CDA families to enjoy an evening of togetherness.  Our ability to organize such a large-scale event in our new multi-sports arena demonstrates our commitment to providing top-notch facilities and experiences to our students and their families.
